An airline transport between Yaounde and Tunis aimed at improving economic transactions between Cameroon and Tunisia will soon go operational.
The announcement was made by Tunisian Foreign Minister Khémaies Jhinaoui on June 28, in Yaounde during the inaugural Cameroon – Tunisia Economic Forum.
Minister Khémaies said Tunisair is considering opening a Tunisia-Cameroon direct airline, as well as a commercial representation in the city of Douala.
While chairing the opening ceremony, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, Minister of Trade, said the government of Cameroon is ready to give business people in both countries a mutually beneficial.
During the forum, Cameroon and Tunisia will have to agree on a win-win business cooperation especially in products and services such as machines, building materials, ICTs, web technology and food amongst others.
For two days, participants shall not only exchange notes but exhibit locally produced products and services
